What is Celebrate Literacy Week?
Celebrate Literacy Week, Florida! is a statewide initiative that promotes the importance of reading, writing, speaking, and listening. The goal is to inspire a love of literacy, encourage family involvement, and help students see reading as both meaningful and fun at school and at home.
Throughout the week, students will have opportunities to participate in engaging literacy activities such as reading with buddies, book swaps, creative projects, and themed spirit days. Some activities may take place during the school day, while others offer ideas families can enjoy together at home.
Please note:
All literacy week ideas and activities are optional. Families are welcome to participate in as many, or as few, activities as they choose. There is no requirement to purchase items or participate every day.
We appreciate your continued support in helping us foster a love of reading and learning for our Dolphins. We look forward to celebrating literacy together!

* Applications are now open for ALL grade levels
Current RLC families:
• Students entering VPK, Kindergarten, or 6th must apply
• All other current RLC grade levels do NOT need to reapply

Our Dolphins are making waves of kindness!
From November 3rd–18th, Round Lake Charter will be collecting food items to help local families in need this holiday season and support Lake Cares Food Bank.
Each grade level has been assigned specific items to bring in. Every donation helps us build full meals and teach our students the power of compassion and giving back.
* Send items in with your child during the collection window.
